    15.4 Bug Reports

Okay just downloaded 15.4 update on the Modis Ultra. First car was a 2003 BMW X5 4.4. 5UXFB335X3LH47607. Following a purge valve I was watching ECM data. Coolant temp was at 296!!! Went into TCM to see what it had to say..... Only 206 following a test drive. And gauge confirms this too. So here's the first bug in the 15.4. I'll be sure to post more if I find them.

Here's another bug I found on the most recent update. While using the S button to save a movie while in scope it will freeze up and you'll have to shut the tool down by holding power button. It was doing this in 14.2 also. I do not have the backlight timer turned on as this used to be an issue with freeze ups.

Also- thanks for adding graphing ohms onto this tool with 15.4. It's good to know our input is actually being used to improve our tools.

Here's another pid data issue. 2004 Honda Accord Sedan 2.4 Vin code 5... Watching engine data during a fuel service and was noticing mph while car was in park on the lift... 72 mph !! Kind of wondering how this is possible. Turned off car, and reopened data. Same thing happened. Would see 71-73 mph while on the lift. Hope the program writers are seeing some of these notes.

          Ok guys,

Hers another one. Modis 15.4... Scanning a 2015 GMC Savana 2500. VIN is 1GTW7FCF8F1247665... Tried auto ID and it goes to vehicle selection, then engine selection. This one happens to have a 4.8 engine, yet there's no "F" engine 4.8 choice on the engine selection page. Hope this helps or has been fixed for 16.2.
