    Is there a diffrence between Europe and Usa

    Hi my question is is there a diffrence between the European and the Usa mtg 2500?? I bought one in the Usa and now the tell me thath i can't use them here !! there is a risk on blowing up the cars ecu????

    cant say for sure, all i know is that ive worked on alot of cars, lotus- imported from britian i think, toyota dsls- right hand drives, volkswagons- some were imported,,, and many more, cant say ive had any problems..

      so it's a strage story??? what my snap on man here say's??
      i will use it for the italian cars fi alfa romeo lancia etc

        All a scan tool is, is a communication device with bi directional capabilities. I don't see how it could blow up any modules. If you have the correct software for the vehicle that you are working on, I don't see how any damage could be done.
