    Data PID's and Functional Tests

How do I get Snap-On to add a PID or PIDs to a data list in functional test menus? I called tech support some time back asking if NVLD switch state could be added to the data list in Chrysler purge vapor test. It was not added in the last update I have, which is 7.2 for MODIS.

Is it available in the normal Data List? If so, once you are in Functional Tests, Select a new Data List and Scroll to the one you're looking for. If it is not available in the normal Data Lists, then post it in the "What would I like my scanner to do" section. Please include a brief description of why you would want to read that Data....even if the reason is obvious.

      Hi Joe,

I know the PID is in available data, though right now I don't remember which list. I will check on Monday when I'm back at the shop. I will post this to the thread you suggested once I have all my info lined up.

      Thanks for the reply.

        Hi Jim,
If it's in the regular data stream, then you're in business! After you're in functional tests, just change which data list you want to view(click Change List), then scroll to the PID(click Scroll) you want on screen as you activate the test.
        See the attached screen shot.
