Im pretty new to using the solus and I'm wondering if i can determine which door is triggering the door ajar light with my scanner. Is there a function to test this and if so how can I access it? This scanner can do so many things its def. is going to take some getting used to. Thanks for the help - JT

Your both right depending on year make and modle, in this case GEM is the correct answer, other vehicles would be in HEC or VSM, JTQUAD take some penatrent spray like WD-40, liberly spray all latch assemblys, then open and close doors multible times, in most cases its a sticking ajar switch due to dirt intrusion, in some cased the pin switch is broken, PID data will lead you to which one is open"I wanna help the helpless, but I could careless about the clueless". Agreed. Depends on which module the manufacturer is using (if any), and then I also would look for "Pid Data".Your both right depending on year make and modle, in this case GEM is the correct answer, other vehicles would be in HEC or VSM, JTQUAD take some penatrent spray like WD-40, liberly spray all latch assemblys, then open and close doors multible times, in most cases its a sticking ajar switch due to dirt intrusion, in some cased the pin switch is broken, PID data will lead you to which one is open
That then depends on whether ALL the pids the module is capable of displaying are included in the scan tool and they aren't "MISSING"-!!!!! LOL
Sometimes what may initially appear as a simple or superfluous pid, possibly culled out or not included in the scan tool, makes for a difficult repair, where, if it was included in the datastream, the repair becomes simple and easy.Comment
