    Readiness Monitors

I purchased the Solus-Pro, wondering if anyone has done any work on "readiness monitors" with the Solus-pro. I've been working with it but have not had any success.

Do you have a question on a specific vehicle or do you want to know how to check the readiness status in general?

      No specific vehicle

I would like to know if it is possible to set the monitors to ready. if not, find out which monitors are next to clear. Just wondering if anyone has had any success. I'm drawing blanks!!!!!!

        monitors

Hi I am not really sure what you are looking for but I know that you can run an evap service bay test to reset that monitor a little faster the rest that apply are set by doing the drive cycle outlined for the particular vehicle in question. Some are reset just by starting the vehicle. Hope this helps. Keep smiling

The vehicle has to self-test and "complete" the monitor tests. Take a look at the OBDII Drive-Cycle in your information system.
Once each monitor has completed it will either be a "pass" with no failures and no codes, Or, it will will decide there is a failure. We can't "commsnd" them on or off.

If your in a GM vehicle, in the menu under "Generic functions" you can scroll to the top to "see" which monitors have completed or not.

You can get the same screen if you go directly into the OBD section of the Solus-Pro

If a monitor has not completed, it will say "NOT COMPLETE" These screen shots show a vehicle that has all the monitors it is capable of as "complete". Not every vehicle has every monitor.
