Does anyone know of a like to a listing for the Snap On scan tools
End Of Life dates?

The one I really need to know right now is for my older Solus.
Been trying to sell it and that is one fact I don't have an answer to.

Also if I can find the current update for it can I do it in one step
from v7.2 to current?

This one I am not sure if I can ask here or not. Is $325 an excessive
price for the unit with 10 keys ?

I see a repair service for old Solus offered on E bay, whether or not they can restore the original software it came with or can update it to the last 15.2 level would require some checking on your part.

Yeah if I knew I could get reasonably priced repairs on old Solus I think I would have popped for the unlocking Euro and updating.
Just bottom fed myself a new Chinese TPMS tool to deal with the growing number of TPMS problems now that the cars 07 and up mandated to have TPMS.
First time using it ,(08 Hyundai Elanta) tool kept telling me the RF one was a duplicate. Took 3 rounds of kneeling down before all 4 wheels before the rf sensor cooperated.(maybe the cold or my fault rushing things) Think they should just have a telescoping rod to excite these things so you don't have to kneel down like you're gonna put your lips on the stem.
I pull out the Port Freight 08 , go into tpms special function to register tire positions and WTF!!! Seems function actuates the intake runner motor? Oh well

Yeah It's my Port Freight 08, it hasn't been updated since original update period ran out in August 2014. It usually works for me ok and been good for Euroturd cars that I don't want to have to pay extra to work on them turds .Works even when faults are displayed as faluts.
AS far as TPMS, I don't sell any tires and Until recently I never felt I needed to buy a TPMS tool but as the cars are getting older and I'm seeing more and more with TPMS idiot lights, I can't be wasting time monitoring my scan tool Pids and letting air out of tires to see which is where and if the LF tire is really on the RR, or what wheel sensor is dead by process of elimination. I only Bottom fed paid about $140 for the new TPMS tool that still requires a scantool to register the tire positions and it also works to test keyless remotes function. I'm thinking both the TPMS tool and the 08 I got are going to be discontinued soon ,Kinda like Bambi , not a lot of Doe there but still a good bang for da Buck. Even if you consider if you wasted a half hour here and there having tried some BS function that lets you down. There is no Silver Bullet for everything. (well, maybe a Miller Hi Life) If you see more tire work a TPMS tool with the OBD cable or a fancy blue tooth comm and dongle built into it would make better sense and save a lot of time in the long run then relying on a separate scan tool besides the TPMS tool. A telescoping exciter extension idea might save some extra kneeling down other than you normally have to do racking vehicles, but would be a bad idea and gimmick if extension part can not be built durable enough to last a life time.

If someone were to have an old solus software card become corrupted in the next couple years or just wishes to update things to final level that was available for it, is there a way to still purchase a Solus or Modis Legacy update for a few more years to come for owners of these old platforms no longer supported by new updates?
