Solus Legend vin solenoid programming

Our shop uses a Solus Legend scanner. I'm trying ot figure out whether or not I can perform the VIN programming required when installing a new transmission solenoid pack in a 2012 Buick Lacrosse 3.6l with a 6T70 transmission?

Also, would it matter if it was new or remanufactured? I know some things you can write new parts but not used and I'm not sure if reman counts as used.

It's hard to tell without hooking up to the vehicle. Give tech support a call, Have all vehicle information including the VIN # and the software version of your Solus. They have some diffeent software there and might be able to let you know
