I recently purchased the update for my Solus Edge which was $1200 and as soon as the update for was installed the unit crashed and was sent to Snap-on via Franchise Rep. The Rep just told me that it needs a new main board and want another $800. My question is has anyone heard of anything such as this? It sounds like a scam honestly. You would think Snap on would be more reputable than this. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the scanner before installing the update.
