    Saab on Solus Pro

I have a solus pro 13.2 and don't find anything for Saab. It has Asian and European. I do not see Saab listed. Any help would be appreciated, chris

Snap-on does not have any coverage for Saab, except of course using OBDII.

      although

if the saab you are working on has a diesel engine in it i.e the vauxhall cdti motor you can indeed go in through opel/vauxhall vectra for example
i have done this previously myself and it works ;-)
      hope that helps

There is no Opel/Vauxhall coverage on scanners for the US Market. Those cars aren't available here. It would be cool if they were though.

You are correct. The Asian and Euro Software made for the US market covers import vehicles that are available in that market. That is to be expected though...as there is no sense in having software for cars that aren't available.

              Saab

Joe, thanks for the reply, I have not seen the car yet, but you mentioned the OBDII. Will it have a normal connector undr dash, or under the hood. I have what I believe to be all the connectors that came with the Solus, but not sure where to go from here. Again am very new to the diagnostic side, and am still very green on the capabilities of the Solus. Have been using the on line SO training tools, and reading and researching as much as possible. Thanks again, chris

What year and model SAAB ?

                Quick,

It depends on the year. By law, everything 1996 and newer will have an OBD 2 connector, usually under the dash.

OBD 2 data is just enough to see if the car runs lean or rich, IAT, ECT,TPS,RPM and just a few other PIDS.

What year and model SAAB ?
