Verdict ver. 11.2 ( not 11.2.1 )
vs
Nissan Murano 2009 SL AWD
-----------
I knew I had a hard code in the ABS system because someone had broken a sensor while replacing a wheel bearing.
So I tried to enter the ABS code menu and the scanner froze..
Rebooted the program.... went in again... got "An error occured" message.
Got out... went in again (ABS code display).... froze again.
Rebooted the Verdict completely...
Went in the ENGINE code list fine..... went in the Transmission code fine... went in the ABS code again... froze again...
Rebooted the Verdict completely...
Wen in the Engine data fine... went in Engine code fine....
** went in the ABS data fine.. so I said to myself .. "finally able".. so I tried to go in the ABS code menu again.... Verdict Froze again.. $%??&&?&?
Checked all the fuses in the truck... all ok.
Rebooted completely... went in the ABS data... put the truck up on the lift.. looked at all the wheel speeds to find that the RF sensor was the bad one.
.. NO I did not go back in the ABS code menu again.
I replaced the bad sensor... went back in the ABS data... everything looked fine... then I went back in the ABS code listing BUT... with no problem at all.
So I dont know if the sensor was short to ground or something and causing a very hard code or a ABS computer lockup, but after replacing the bad sensor, I had no more problems going into the ABS code listing.
