There is no Ethos forum here but I see there is a new Ethos Tech. So let me get this straight, the price includes life time software updates ? It runs the same 15.2 software as the other Snap On scanners ? It stores vehicle records and data and can be transferred to Shop Stream ?

Snap On is desperately trying to get everyone on board with the subscription update program. So, with this new Ethos, they are advertising the free updates for 3 years, after which you begin to pay the subscription price. In my opinion, as often as Snap On comes out with new platforms, this is a good deal. By the time you needed to start your subscription Snappy will have released the new Ethos UltraProTech.

3 years of updates
I figure Snappy rather than kissing Hind Tiddy of OE's for scraps of information the OE's will toss their way and give the nod to use and have to walk the legal tight rope of plagiarism. Just send a software tech to Harbor freight and copy a 708, then use all your resources to correct Chinglish, rearrange the menu , then make the trouble shooter and sure track stronger, and Toss in 3 free years of ALL Data and On Demand access to boot with the money saved.
Give the Chinese two cents on every dollar for all the copied R&D and tell the Copyright lawyers that they'll have to take it up and file suit in China. ROFLMAOComment

Did Snappy pull the plug on the Ethos Tech? I see list price $ for platform shows N/A USD.
