Problem changing the injector quantity adjustment 6.7 cummins

Is anyone else having a problem with changing the injector quantity adjustment on a 6.7 dodge. The vehicle im having trouble with is a 2011 3500. Ill go into the injector quantity adjustment and write the new number in, the scanner will show the correct info write, then say programming was successful and when it reads back the new number it adds a exclamation point between the 4th and 5th digit and deletes the 6th. For example if the new injector is a BTSNA3 it will write a BTNS!A. This will cause all the injectors to set codes. This happens with both a verus and solus edge both updated to 15.2.
Contacted snap-on tech support and they have no help to offer.

I have used this several times with no issues, if I get a chance ill change the next one I see to confirm what you are getting. sometimes I have entered a wrong number using my fingers on the touch screen, so ill use a stylus or a wireless mouse to enter numbers.

for what its worth I used this functional test today and everything worked fine. just a thought, you might make sure you are typing the numbers and letters with the caps on. if you have ever used the wi-tech you have to have the caps on or it wont right the numbers/letters right. something to try.

Now THAT'S a good tip. That one would have had me going on a circle or two.

          Same issue here.
Tried a Solus & Modus to no avail.
Used a Verus with the caps lock on & it worked.
The Modus & my Solus has the caps lock disabled which makes it useless for this.
          Snap on FIX THIS
