Verus Guided Component test not working

    Hello.

Have my VERUS Wireless EEMS323 that runs on Windows XP, and with 15.4 update bundle software.

Tool runs OK, no errors in Windows, Verus diagnostic suite loads good, all Scanner, OBD2 Direct, Labscope, etc this apps work perfect.

But when I start the Guided Component Tests icon, a blank screen appears and nothing more, just the back on the top left corner and the lower menu bar. Dont appear the menu to select the brand, year and model of car, nothing. Is like if the option doesnt exists and dont start at all.

Tried all ways, choosing first the vehicle in the scanner, that does it perfect, and then opening the GCT to see if responds, but nothing, just a white screen with no way to enter on it.

Anyone had this problem before, or knows how to solve it??

If not, I am afrad I will have to send the VERUS to Snap On to repair that. Seems like it is a kind of error on the software or if a component is missing, dont know, but dont give any screen message about it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    1st thing to try:

    Close all software.

Start Menu>Control Panel>Folder Options>"View" Tab>Select "Show Hidden Files" - Apply, and close window.

    My Computer>D:>Snap-on Software>Diagnostic Suite Installer

If that doesn't get it, you may need to check for service updates, XP Service Pack 3, or go for a reimage, which is a bit of a project on the Original Gen 1 Verus. You'll want to brows the FAQ's on that tool if you go that deep.
