    Verus EEMS323, two problems

Is there a replacement fan available for the one on the back of the scanner?
We have 16.2 installed. The auto vehicle ID option seems to work as it should as far as I know, but the tabs for All codes scan and all codes clear are not anywhere to be found.
Is this scanner (with the interchangeable Keys on the data cable) able to use these new code features or could it be a 16.2 install problem? Our Snap on guy was really new when we had him update it. Is there maybe a Update.exe file I could re-run in the Verus to make it re-install 16.2?
    Thank you

Too bad the forum search bar is still disabled

Used to be able to just type in a key word and you could pull up posts related to the subject. I would look for a post called Inside the Verus that describes how he disassembled one with pictures. Get the numbers off the old fan and go to Digikey and see if you can find it or the equivalent.

No. It was often necessary to change out keys going from module to module.
The part of the software that isn't working for you must be able to do so automatically - it can't, unless you could get a wireless (and keyless) scan module which would solve the problem. 17.2 is, unfortunately (and prematurely) the last update available for this scanner so that is something to consider.

Your Verus is probably working as designed.
