Hello everyone I seem to have an odd problem.. I have a Verus EMMS323 and I was doing some upgrades to the hardware (SSD and memory) once I was done I put it back together and the screen was upside down?? I did not remove the screen from the chassis so I don't know how that happened. I did not know what hardware switches it may have had for that screen flip. I went searching for some possible connections that could do that. But nothing.. It Seems there are no hardware switches only software or at least software code to cause a flip?? I could not find any LCD with that feature and only saw vague references to a DIY to do it. So I flipped it back over in Windows recalibrated the touch screen and paid it no mind.. Well, till today, The original clone of my HDD was corrupted due to the original having media defects already. I noticed it just after but it was 90% ok .. I put the old HDD in my PC and ran Victoria on it to move all the data out of the bad sectors and then mark them as bad. It took almost 28 hours to clean it up so I could re-clone it ( all is well now)
But here is the thing....
I don't normally power stuff up while disassembled yet I wanted to see it boot first.. It did and the screen was right side up??
I was like YEA !! and started to put the cover back on and it glitched. The screen flipped then went back and again and then again after I stopped any movement and yet again but this time it stayed and nothing I seemed to do change it..
Mind you this is all in the boot screen before Windows boots. So how does that happen?? It seems there is some mechanism that makes that happen ?? Unless my teenage years are finely catching up with me So...
Please, someone knock some sense into me. (with your words of wisdom) and tell me there is some gyro sensor circuit that was put in but never implemented and I just happened to activate it twice?? Thanks in advance for any info on this cause I'm stuck, as well my as my boot screen !!
