Versus pro stuck

    Versus pro stuck

    I have a versus pro and it's stuck at a screen saying disk boot failed please install system disk and press enter. What do I do

    Plug in a USB keyboard and hit the enter key. See if it gets past there. If not, reset the BIOS date and reboot. After that, you probably have a failed hard drive, but you'll need an IT or computer guy to know for sure.

      What do u mean reset the bios date to what exactly an ty for the info

        Anif it is a failed HDD how can I get it back up an running again?

          If it's a failed hard drive there's no official fix from Snap-on. That tool is no longer supported. There are options outside of Snap-on, such as cloning the hard drive. I've got no idea how any of that is done, but some folks that are experts in PCs have done it, including installing solid state drives, etc. There's even a thread or two on this forum about it.

            i have tried every thing from trying to force it to be read by my pc an give it a drive name nothingit simply wont read an when i turn it on all it dose is show the snapon logo an to a black screen saying system boot fail plz insert system disk. i have downloaded the embeded os on a bigger hdd but simply cant get it to work .
