Does your Aircard require a modem to work? When you connect with the Aircard by dialing #777 or something like that?

If so, I don't think the Verus has a modem built in.

    No-Start.

Did you download communications manager from ATT to the Verus?

If you are using the usb style air card all of the drivers for the device are located on the air card. During the install process you may get a message that there is a file missing and to install the cd that came with the device. to locate the missing file select search form the start menu and locate the files.

          ATT Aircard.

To answer your question, yes it is possible after you manualy install the needed drivers using the procedure the snap-on tech on the above post describes. What I found to be the problem is when the att usb aircard demands stronger signal it will go into a higher power requirement. This will then set off an overcurrent error on the Verus. The way around this is to have an external powered USB hub to plug the ATT aircard to. Hope this helps.

            Hello

I am pretty sure that you can add just about any USB compliant accessory supported by XP. The exception seems to be items which require higher current such as an external hard drive running off the USB power. It will work if it is externally powered. You may have to go on-line to retrieve drivers from the source as without a CD or DVD it may complicate installation.

I have set up a bluetooth mouse and am looking for a bluetooth keyboard. I have installed some third party scanner software and so far so good. I have configured it to connect to my laptop running vista in order to access my alldata DVDs.

Now if we can just address the programming issues....

              Thanks

Thanks to all for your help. I forgot how to navigate to this site,...duh! I am still getting familiarized with this new platform. It seems my windows registry has a few errors maybe. It will also not accept the Norton 360 Security software, which is Windows XP compatible. I am hoping we can somehow upgrade to a Vista platform someday, Microsoft is not bieng upgrade friendly to the Windows XP. Besides that a late Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!!!
