what printer are you guy"s using? i cant get my verus to print or even accept my printer? when i plug in the printer usb plug the verus will recognize the new hardware but wont let it print.

yes tried that= the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software?

I have the cd that came with the printer just dont know how to get it to the verus, i did try and copy the cd to a usb save stick then tried to get the verus to load it but that didnt work.

See if you can find someone that has an external cd drive that will plug into the usb port, that "should" work.

Sometime you can go to your printer manufacture website and download the driver strait to your Verus

I have mine setup to network with my laptop on my toolbox and hust print through the laptop wirelessly.

I was having probelms with the USB port on my VERUS. I recommend Using windows device manager to open view by conection and see when you plug in the USB printer, check what USB port is being used and check if its being recognized. if not try uninstalling the USB port driver and reboot the unit, it will reinstall the usb drivers and possibly may work ok after that. if not then you will need to call tech for help regarding the USB ports on the Verus. If you are using a wirless network in your shop. A shared printer should be your best way to use and print wirless. if you need help setting up a shared printer wireless we will be glad to help, you need to have a PC setup on the wirless networt and a printer attached to it already.

Why don't they just make SSC work properly. Then you can save & archive all your files. Storage space these days is (or should be) a non-issue.
If you could save and retrieve ALL your files PROPERLY, you could print them out at your leisure, from any computer, and/or use previous waveforms, screen shots, etc as examples for another customer anytime and repeatedly, and also as a tool for others to review, online or not.
BTW. The virus vulnerability and inability to do security updates is silly IMHO.

ok got the printer setup and working
like steve6911 suggested i used a external cd drive to load the printer software, all the printing options work but when i reboot the verus a pop-up will say there is still a file missing. after clicking the window closed everything works ok.
