    windows updates

I have seen some of the members have updated the windows xp section of their software to service pac3. When I go and try to do this it gives me an error message, I know that I can bypass this error by following the windows information.

What I need to know is this advisable from snap-on? Because the error message has to do with the fact that the windows automatic updates has been disabled or not installed by snap-on's version of the windows.

    PS

There is a service pac update out, that has the vulnerabilities of explorer fixed.

    Thanks

    win updates

you can't update windows via the automatic update web page. you must manualy find and download the updates then install them as needed. go to this web page http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/B...n&categoryid=7 once there select the update you want and download them as needed. also to download WinXP SP3 you must download the network for IT profesionals instalation package. good luck updating, I did and I noticed windows running much stable.
