    VERUS Problem ?

    I have talked to tech assist a few times and done a re-image along with Downloading new firmware and software and still have the same problem , Tech assist is stumped , I was hoping another VERUS owner out there has access to a Sprinter 07 or 08 with a 3.0 diesel and can scan the vehicle (engine data and tire pressure monitor ) to see if they end with the same bad luck as me , The scan-tool gathers data for a minute or two then ends in an ERROR GETTING DATA message or as in the TMP ( tire pressure monitor ) a fatal error that shuts down the scanner , Screen shots follow , Any help would be appreciated .

    I have worked on a few here and there mostly brake jobs.
    Isn't that really a mercedes benz chasiss?
    I rember a while back I had a merc villager that I had to id as a nissan,
    Cause it is really made by nissan.
    Anyway my point maybe if it was I D ed as a benz it might work?
    I know it is a verus but it functions same as a solus scanner.
    And it could be a bug in the software snap on has not worked out yet?
    Hey it is just a thought. Or it is worth a try, anyway good luck!!!!!

      Well I tried your suggestion , Didn't work sad to say as I was hoping it would , It is a Mercedes or Daimler chassis , Engine , Trans , Brakes , Electronics L.O.L with Dodge badging ..... Thanks for the Idea though !!!!

        have you tride any of your other scan tools? I see you have a Star Scan? I have also seen this error code on other type of vehicle systems, I think that its a software issue with snapOn, but they don't know, they think its you or your vehicle. I've also been told by tech support to reimage my unit, but only to find same error reoccuring. I've even sent my verus in sevral times to repair (HD replacement) and still same issues. Keep calling tech support and let them know of your issue, I've noticed your not alone with this type of vehicle communication issues. maybe next 9.2 release will fix this?

          The Starscan/ Starmobile works fine on the same vehicles , All 10 of the 07 -08 Sprinters thankfully, Nice to know someone else has had the same errors on other vehicles and yes tech assist grinds you towards it being something you did wrong or something wrong with the car you are working on , It would be great if they put that much effort into working the bugs out of the software, Thanks for the reply.
