Hi, i had 4 clients already with a 04,and 05 nissan maxima 3.5l with a transmission problem. The transmissions had a rough 2-3,3-2,2-1,and 3rd gear delay. We did a computer diagnostic to trany. Every single car had almost the same codes #p0726- engine speed input circuit performance,#p0717-turbine speed sensor,#p0744-a/t tcc a/v function,#p0722-out-put speed sensor circuit, #u1001-can communication line.So we checked the two speed sensors, and there were faulty. Both of them wasn't generating voltage. We installed the two sensors and told the first client that it might be all the problem. We tested drive the cars and it got worst or didn't change nothing. The transmissions had a rough 2-3,3-2,2-1,and 3rd gear delay again. We checked all wiring from the trany, everything was good.Grounds, voltages all the pins were connected good. And one of the 04 maxima have near 68,000 miles, the other ones had more than 120,000 miles. So the trans problem on 04,05 maximas is internal. The bad thing is that the clients expended like over $360 on sensors, and didn't solve nothing. We talked to this friend on nissan dealer,he said that theres a lot of maximas coming in with the same problem. He said that the problem is defective trans valve body. It cost more than $1500 dollars, but u have to re-bult it.And I think is cheaper and better if i buy a new one for $3,000 dollars. But most of clients dont have that much money. Please let me know if u have the same problem. thankx, mike.

We recenty had a 06 Altima 3.5SE with p0726 rpm input and p0334 CKP sensor circuit and U1000. trans very harsh to shift and would stay in 3rd gear only. after hours of testing found had a small bent on the flywheel flex plate causing a unstable ckp signal on scope and dtc's to set. replaced flywheel and fixed it. just a other possibility.Hi, i had 4 clients already with a 04,and 05 nissan maxima 3.5l with a transmission problem. The transmissions had a rough 2-3,3-2,2-1,and 3rd gear delay. We did a computer diagnostic to trany.
