    powering down My VERUS

OK, I have several different opinions on the proper way to power down my VERUS when done with it. I treat the tool like a tablet PC, or even a laptop. When done I close all my programs, then use the Windows start menu to shut off PC.
I have been told not to use this method but to just hold the power button down till it shuts off... I know that is wrong as it is the same as pulling the power cord on a desktop system.... not good.

Power it down just like a normal PC. This is the best way.

z To power down the VERUS unit:
        1. Open the Windows Start menu.
        2. Select Turn Off Computer.
        3. Select Turn Off in the dialog box.
The open programs close and the power switches off.
        3.3.1 Emergency Shutdown
In case of emergency, press and hold the Power button to force a shutdown.
