well, verus has let me down plenty now.. 2005 caddi sts. First no tpms relearn function, then no electronic suspension option. Had to pull out the old genesys and that even had it. Man what a let down. Hope snappy gets all this worked out on 11.2 or I will have a expensive tool that even the genesys outperforms....

Well don't be hooking it up to a 2004 Saturn Vue and expect to run a simple EVAP test, you'll be disappointed there too, just as I was yesterday. The options for that vehicle were pretty barren...well, verus has let me down plenty now.. 2005 caddi sts. First no tpms relearn function, then no electronic suspension option. working with the cars with the right tools will surely get it fixed! However electronic configurations of the cars system needs diagnostic tools and should be handled by the professionals.best cars are fixed with the best tools

There also is a manual relearn procedure, which requires lowering/increasing tire pressures in a certain order. The instructions should be included in the scan tool, they are for other GM vehicles.-Kai-

This can be performed with the Sanp on TPMS device, see your snapy dealer(Tool, Tire Pressure Monitor Stock#: TPMS2)well, verus has let me down plenty now.. 2005 caddi sts. I have the what I call the $750 remote control to do this, however you can also do this without any scan tools just buy lowering or rasing the tire psi rapidly, heres the proceedure
TPM Learn Procedure
Important: If using the pressure increase/decrease method, the following procedure must be completed within 15 minutes from when the vehicle is stationary after being driven at 32 km/h (20 mph), or greater, for 10 seconds.
Important: Before proceeding with the steps below, ensure that no other learn procedure is being performed simultaneously, or that no tire pressures are being adjusted on another TPM equipped vehicle within close proximity.
•Place the ignition switch in the proper position:
• With electronic keyless ignition, place the switch in the ACCY position
• With standard ignition, place the switch in the RUN position
•Simultaneously press the keyless entry transmitters lock and unlock buttons until a horn chirp sounds or use the scan tool and select Module Setup, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver, TPM Learn Mode, and then the Enable soft key. A horn chirp will sound indicating the mode has been enabled. When increasing tire pressure do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure as noted on the tire sidewall.
•Starting with the left front tire, hold the antenna of the J-46079 against the tire sidewall close to the wheel rim at the valve stem location then press and release the activate button and wait for a horn chirp, or increase/decrease the tire pressure for 5-8 seconds then wait for a horn chirp. The horn chirp may occur before the 5-8 second pressure increase/decrease time period has been reached, or up to 30 seconds after the 5-8 second pressure increase/decrease time period has been reached.
•After a horn chirp has sounded, proceed as in step 3 for the next 3 sensors in the following order:
4.1. Right Front
4.2. Right Rear
4.3. Left Rear
•After the LR sensor has been learned a double horn chirp will sound indicating all sensors have been learned.
•With the ignition switch, select the OFF mode to exit the learn mode.
•After the learn mode has been exited, adjust all tire pressures to the recommended pressure.
what I did before buying that $750 tpms REMOTE WAS TO PULL THE VALVE CORE, RAPIDLY DROP THE PRESSURE 10 PSI, HORN WILL CHIRP, THEN MOVE TO NEXT LOCATION PER INSTRUCTIONS, this will acctivate the sensor to ping the TPMS with current sensor ID which will be stored within TPMS module allowing relearn, this dose work well, however the remote(remote does this electronicly, excites sensor to ping ID to be learned) dose work in all cases when above proceedure fails, I have found rapid decrease in psi works faster than adding psi

Oh... almost forgot, the TPMS2 will also work on Toyota(and most others), there different, they require reading the 8 digit code from the sensor and inputing it thru scanner fuction , use the last seven digits , now if you are not aware of the code, it requires dissmount to read the sensor ID# stamped on the TPMS sensor inside the tire, if you have the TPMS2 tool you can read the code thru the tire on the car, saves lots of time, love mine, great tool, also will read tire pressure and tempature on Toyota models"I wanna help the helpless, but I could careless about the clueless".
