I have a new Wireless Verus and ever since 11.2 update was released I've had problems with Fords for some reason as many already know? I have not been able to gather DTC's form any pre-OBD2 Ford but I can read Data on the ones that support it, on later none CAN Ford, I can never run the EVAP function test, but works fine in any newer CAN equipped Ford. I had a SnapOn rep, bring over a Verdict with the same 11.2 software and we tried it on the same vehicles and it had the same problems, SnapOn rep determined it was a software problem, Called Tech support and they Wanted to send in My Verus for repairs due to a screen flickering issue and they were going to look into this concern. They just resent back the Unit and said this will be fixed on the next service release. So the Funny thing is that I already got this release 11.2.1 and I'm still having the Same problems, So what really is fixed? And when will the real fix come out? 11.4? and we will have to pay for it I guess?

It looks that way eddie, It seems that alot of the issues weren't even solved. Well any of the issues we are all having. Not sure but myself as well as many others will stop buying updates. I am not paying for software that does not function to 100% of what is advertized, and i will not pay to beta test!

My Verus also runs 11.2 with latest update, tried to pull freeze frame data from the Hybrid ECU on a 2007 Prius for resolver DTC, got a error message, was able to pull the data with techstream lite, anyone else run into this? Freeze frame data an a late model vehicle is a must have.

I've tested the Snap On products on a number of Prius'es in the past. I haven't encountered one yet that I had issues with trying to pull codes. Do you have a screen dump of what the error message was that came up? Also, what was the DTC and INFO code that was stored?
P0A4B Motor position circuit fault, This DTC comes from HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM: P0A4B-253-P0A4D-255: Generator Position Sensor Circuit , its a resolver fault, I dont have a problem with the code or the vehicle, it was a circuit connection fault that I have already fixed, my issue is with my Verus that I have sunk about 15k into, after counting two years of updates and all the accesories I bought, sometimes I feel like I spent 15K for a oversized multimeter with a overheating problem, Just wish it would do what its advertised to do.

No-Start.
Maybe you missed the point of my question, Have you tried to pull freeze frame data yet from this module??When I contacted SO they stated they would look into it! They didnt know why I could pull freeze frame data with techstream but not there product

I think I did understand the point of your question and am trying to get more information so it can be dealt with.
Yes, I have pulled a lot of freeze frames from the Hybrid ECU. While I haven't encountered any errors in pulling freeze frames, I would like to find out which errors you received.
Well then, I just happen to have a screen shot, lets hope you can fix this, This info was provided to SO over the phone, this shot was snaped after clicking icon to view freeze frame data for DTC P0A4B vin # JTDKB20U27
I purchased my VERUS about 3 months ago...is there supposed to be a disc with software on it that came with the unit that will allow you to do this update?
No auto update happens when connected to the Internet wireless or wired...I am supposed to use the VERUS UPDATE? or is that just for paid major updates? if I click on it and run it. It looks for SCAN BAY software and cannot find it.
your verus is supposed to notify you with at system notification, that an update is available. Clicking on the balloon is supposed to open the update application. But because things don't often work they way they should. Snapon has a link on their customer referral page (http://www1.snapon.com/diagnostics/us/cc) to the application. It's #33 on the list at the moment and the file is called Verus_US_11.2.1_Up_2379.exe
