    Verus wireless (EEMS325) memory upgrade

I haven't been able to find much on here about doing this to the 2nd gen Verus. I took one home for the weekend to address wifi issues and while I had it apart I figured I'd check out the memory situation. I happened to have two dead HP laptops taken apart so I grabbed a 2GB memory stick and compared it to what I removed and found it would physically fit. The replacement I installed is a Samsung PC2-6400 2GB. Now I'm no computer expert and I don't know if this should technically work but it starts up and seems much faster. On another note, the gen 2 is easier to take apart than a gen 1.

I will try to do a side-by-side comparison with another gen 2 Verus in a week or two. I know the upgrade to 1 GB really sped up our gen 1 Veruses.

I'd be interested in how the memory upgrade works. Also, would it be possible for you to post some pics on the disassembly and memory replacement?

I had a shop do the sad and like how it turned out, I might be willing to do the memory

    Thanks again
