First, let me state that I own a Modis Elite, not a Verus. First, a question. What brand of main memory is in your Verus? All the Modis' I've had apart, used Kingston memory. My uber geek buddy swears by Kingston's memory. I must admit that in 20 years of playing with computers, I've never had a Kingston memory module fail [except for the laptop that survived a house fire. The firemen got the machine so wet, that it had multiple issues] I've also had good luck with Crucial products.

I recently purchased a new Kingston 256 GB for $80 delivered [Black Friday sale] You should be able to buy a top brand name 120 or 128 SSD for about $60. A friend just got a Kingston 120 Gb SSD for $50 on Amazon. Prices are falling, so compare prices. FYI, buying this stuff off of Pricewatch or EBay will probably void the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty is only good if purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor. Both Amazon and NewEgg are authorized. See
