    No Communication with Older Cars

    New Virus Pro and so far I have had multiple cars that were all in the 80s. Will hook up go to read codes and get a screen saying no communications is the key on. I use vin entry mode so the entire vin is installed. To double check things I unhooked the wireless module and attached a solus to the same cable set up. The solus could read the codes and data with no problem. So how do I get the Verus to preform as well as a Solus?

    What kind of vehicles are you unable to connect to? The wireless versions of Verus using the S3 module, most pre-OBDII vehicles require the use of the external power cord attached to the DLC adapter, if it has a power socket. See the picture below for an example, here is the Mazda - 1 connector. See the power socket on the side? I'm not saying this is the case for you, but it happens quite often.
