New here customer wants to put hundred horse tip injectors in his 6.7 cummins can the verus code in the new injectors? i have the older model with personality keys if that matters. thanks

what software version do you have? yes the verus can code the injectors I just cant remember what update that test was implemented. I would id the vehicle and make sure its there if you have an older software version. word to the wise
if the company you purchase the injectors from just installs bigger injector tips there will be no injector quality numbers to program in. will it run yes-will it be right no. I would ask before ordering the injectors if they flow test them and there is the coding numbers on each injector.
I have had to install new injector with new coding numbers to fix drivability issues, from people in the past installing cheap injectors without coding numbers. -
Good info. I never thought that someone would sell injectors without flow testing them.

I know this is a little older thread but I thought I might add to it in case someone else reads it. I may not be correct anyway. But I don't think factory tuning will allow such large injectors. In order to utilize the added fuel I think you might have to go aftermarket. For custom tuning a Dodge, Smarty is my method of choice. SCT for Fords with tunes from Innovative Diesel, and EFI Live for duramax.Comment
