    Verus Wireless Battery

    I have tried all the tricks here to fix the battery dying issue. It charges 100% but then it dies and the battery with the x on it appears. Then the unit shuts down. Has happened before. could it be that I need a new battery? Also, are there batteries with higher mAh? Any ideas. Thanks again.

      If it is more than a couple of years old it is probably bad. I just bought a new one for mine. It is 4 years old and has been crummy for over a year. It is nice to have decent battery life again!

          buy the high capacity one, it's way better than the one that comes with the unit, look it up for a verdict, same battery.

              A Verus Pro and a Verdict can use the same battery, but the Wireless Verus uses a different style. It is much bigger.

                  Thanks for all the input guys. also to the people who read my problem. I will buy a new battery. lets see if that fixes the problem. Thanks again guys!!!!

                      Anyone know if they sell a battery charger on the go or another external batter for the verus so I don't need to charge it as much? Those USB chargers for laptops, can they be used to charge the VERUS? Or am I insane?

                          1 vote for insane.

                          A usb charger is 5 volts, and most of them are well under 1 amp. Your Verus charger is more than 14 volts. Some of them were 17 volts at 3-4 amps.
                          The Verus wireless did have an external charger. You could hot swap a battery if you had power connected to the Verus.

                              What are the "tricks" you refer to for fixing the battery? I'm having problems myself. The usable time on my Verus Pro is getting shorter and shorter. I've tried letting it die completely and recharging it with no improvement. Unfortunately mine is only 6 months or so old...
