    Zeus Diag Cart

Does anybody know what monitor is supposed to be used with the diag cart with the flip up lid? I bought a KRSC46HBPS with the intent of using it for a diag cart with my Zeus And while my rep hooked me up the insert and monitor the stuff he supplied me with were for a Zeus with the split top cart so none of it works for mine. I am trying to see if there is a special monitor that is supposed to be used?

Not sure what you're dealing with as our rep hasn't demoed those newer carts to us.
However, I bought a Verdict and cart years ago. Later I upgraded to a Verus Edge (same as a Zeus) and put it into the cart. Same Acer computer monitor and cabling, just a new base to match the newer scanner. I have swapped out the Verus for the shop's Zeus and it of course worked every bit as well.
Now if you instead have a Zeus +, some things might be different. I haven't had my hands on one of those.

The monitor used for the ZEUS flip top carts was a 24" Planar PCT2435. If that is no longer available, it was replaced by the Planar PCT2485 monitor.
The best results with the PCT2435 was with the VGA output from the docking station.

I was actually going to upgrade mine to a touchscreen and bought one. Unfortunately it is heavier and would have required upgrading the lid shocks to raise the lid AND keep it open. Second issue and the killer, was that it is too thick. With the Verus stowed away and the monitor fitted I couldn't close the top.
So the touchscreen was retired to the home shop. Along with my Verdict.

Note to Verdict users, the original Windows Embedded software doesn't actually recognize and work with an extra touchscreen. Works fine with a Verus Edge/Zeus 1 though. Still great for displaying scope screens in any case.
