MODIS Scope Error Code

I've seen the same issue you have seen. The scope will give that message if you use the scanner first, then want to use the scope.

I had wondered what the cause was. Most likely it is a software issue not a component issue. My Modis was upgraded less than a year ago and I'm running 7.2

Keep us posted on what the cause may have been.

My dealer came today and is going to send my MODIS out to be repaired today so it will be a week or so before I hear anything about what it takes to fix it. I'll keep you posted......

When I select the Scope, I get this error and have to shut down and restart my MODIS.

"Application Modis.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor."

My MODIS came back today. The repair list says they replaced LSPI "RbV", CF 7.4 reload, Euro software reload, and replaced the fan filter. I still did not get a list of everything they replaced when I initially sent it in a few weeks back when they did the "complete rebuild". All I got was the amount to pay, $1800.00....

I have no idea what any of these parts are in particular so maybe someone will be able to help us all out with it.....

I guess so. I had the "old" style MODIS, now it is the "new" style. Only thing that looks the same is the back cover and the cover for the scope module....

I believe the LSPI is the Lap scope module, The SCPI is the Scanner module.
