    sparkplug repair inserts,

I have saved customer's (or myself) thousands of dollars (depends who you argue with) installing alloy steel repair inserts on some Ford aluminum 4.6 and 5.4 engines and always wonder if the path of heat transfer for the plug now has been made longer, and if a choice of a slightly cooler heat range of spark plug should be given consideration, since adding a steel insert to the equation might be in theory making the plug run hotter .

Yep, lots to be thankful for !!!

Another service writer down the road, made it almost 5 months. Being a service writer is like being a drummer for Spinal Tap. Take a number and don't get too comfortable, ... spontaneous combustion, poof and they're gone ?

Bob, If you still have your health and can ride your bicycle to work when the weather permits, you certainly still have a lot to be thankful for. Thanks for taking the time to post things on here Bob. Enjoyed the Spinal Tap Spontaneous Combustion clip on You Tube, forgot much about that movie. Hope you find a new service writer with Mesmerizing Hooters.LOL

Hope you Americans had a great Turkey day and speaking of Turkey worked on a Ford Transit Connect today for the first time! VIN position 1 was N which is Turkey! They are used as Postal vans here and this one was an advertising business van. Can't see these vans for daily drivers, might make a nice small camper!

Wow pretty cool , as uplifting as it may look, it might be the final farewell to the world from a suicidal art teacher and it will all be on the news tomorrow.

I was thinking more along the lines of aliens adding to their repertoire of crop circles, snow sculptures.

All it takes is a creative person with alot of practice with UFO's (RC cars or helicopters ) from a good vantage point if the snow is fluffy enough.

Does anyone have a recommendation for for a good airbag simulator tool. I was wanting one with factory style connectors instead of individual terminals. Merry Christmas.

I know Ford has them, as for other manufacturers I'm not so sure, and the manufacturers don't disclose the resistance specs of components for fear people will be getting killed testing circuits or bypass defective components with radio shack resistors rather than the expense of replacement.LOL
There's a few sets of Ford RoachTundra ones on e-bay.

Have to agree with Witsend. I have the Ford kit. Have not found a kit for any other Manufacturer.

On a side note: I never thought the later (1989) engine transplant in the '69 C10 was going to be this much of a bear. Nothing fits, probably would drop right in if it were a Ford F100. Way too much work dropping a G.M. 350 into a G.M. truck. Go figure. Right now I am trying multiple exhaust manifolds.

As Rodney Atkins says; If you are going through hell, keep on going. You might get out before the devil even knows you are there.

Lots of elbow grease at top of the fenders means less aircraft stripper required before repainting

The new Mercedes boasts 91 computers in it's new models !! It's strange what some people consider progress, I would consider it a major breakthrough if you could get it down to 2 or 3. 91 computers on one network according to the ad. So if one crashes the whole thing goes down ? I thought good engineering was when you could make one thing do five jobs, not needing five things to do one job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq_-YKoGDaw
