"The artic is warmer than you this morning!!!!"
Only got down to 8 deg. this morning, And almost hit 32 yesterday, felt pretty good I thought. lol
We definitely been in the deep freeze for awhile.. Especially for this time of the year.. Feels more like January out there.
Sad part is that it went from 64 deg. to the teens and lower pretty much over night and caught me with my pants down.. Haven't got the fuel conditioned in my tractors yet! Figured it would warm back up and I'd get it done, but need to use them this weekend..(animals feeders are beginning to run low) guess I'll have to pull out the tarp, torpedo heater & howes!

Told gpa today I was leaving the family business at the end of January. He asked why. "I am opening a shop in early February. I can't wait for you to will me the shop." He sat there, got up and gave me a monster hug and said in my ear, 'I knew you were planning this. I'm proud, your dad would be too." Brought a tear to my eye...Comment

Hate to say it, I am about ready to fire all customers with later model Chrysler vehicles. Damler gives almost no info to do the work, and what is there, seems to be for base models regardless of options. I am tired of giving estimates on the labor guide without seeing the vehicle first. Just did a Radiator on an '07 Jeep Commander with 5.7 A.W.D. Pays 2.8 hours. Took me 5. Sure I could have cut the plastic neck for the washer bottle, but I did not. Had to remove front bumper cover, plastic bumper, just to remove left headlight to drill steel rivet that holds it to the upper cross member (that is not listed in the instructions.) The radiator will not come out without evacuating the A/C system and at least removing the line that has the pressure switch. After that, just pull the condenser/trans cooler, comes out fine.
Same customer also wants both exhaust manifolds pulled, broken bolts removed, new gaskets, etc..... I can not see it being done within the time frame for the left side. Drive shaft and front diff do not seem to be part of the labor time or the instructions. Gonna let her get all the parts, plus the plastic rivets for the fender wells, (at $5.00 a piece.) I think I can attack it that way as a side job.
Anybody done these before?

Radiator isa major job on jeeps. Period.
Greasy, HOW can it be colder heer than where the cold comes from? It's nutty. It's November here. Doesn't not get cold here til Jan-Feb. Never snows. Is it ok to pee outside when it like this?
I bet the fence people are shivering there in westkonsin...would be heer.
Gonna get weird here, we don't have enough clothes. This is ravenstoke..We are going to run out of baby oil, special napkins, and scented candles.
Greasy it so cold heer, thays ice coming up out the ground...looks like grass. Grass ice it is. Colder here than where they make the cold air...wtp

Dr. Jake
Maybe Liljoe dusted off them old horns and revived the spirits. lol
Feel sorry for you guys & gals back in New York! 7 ft. in one storm! WoW, my back starting to hurt just thinking about it.. That sounds more like what our mountains would get & we don't have to shovel that, just go play in it. seen a few storms dump 3 ft. down here in the valleys, and that turns into a long day cleaning up. Hope y'all stay safe and warm!

Trouble is how would all those people get to the Bills Stadium ,and how well are they going to behave before Obama is able to get Global Warming to melt it to get humanitarian aid to all the fans in there.
