I think it misses the mark if it's trying to tell you what to do. But it's a cool way to show cause and effect. It could get you where you need to be faster than a flow chart. Interconnectedness is hard to figure. You can get an ABS/traction control light because of an EGR valve error.
For some reason all these charts seem to focused on what part to change. There are other things that can happen without component failures. There still are things that may need adjustment, cleaning or other service. A lot of the stumpers On ST are ones that already changed this that and the other thing but didn't get it because they didn't understand the problem.Comment

Captain, ya lurking?? I have an '05 jetta 2.5 Towed in with no compression, after investigation, found intake cam phaser bolt had backed out some. Are these known for any issues of Intake Cam seizing causing chain to back off bolt? I am currently waiting for customer to call to authorize further teardown. This is my 1st of these, and the Baum tool kit just showed up.

all this talk of vacuum/pressure transducers kinda got me to thinking. What is vacuum ? (the lack of pressure). What is absolute vacuum ? Would a vacuum cleaner working in outer space ? One of those questions like, would your headlights still work if you were already travelling the speed of light ? Could you make a dark matter or dark energy vacuum ? Maybe only in a Tom Brady football ? Hmmmmm ? Maybe like how there is no cold, only the absence of heat.Comment

No cold only low heat. No vacuum only low pressure.
It wouldnt matter if your headlights worked at the speed of light youd be energy anyway...right? Not too mention in the depths of space it doesnt matter how well your head lights work while sitting still or while tavelling as energy at the speed of light because your eyes wouldnt be able to tell unless there was something for the light to reflect off of....
If you hopped in your speed of light racecar and left to go see an exploding star by the time you got there, it wouldnt be...Youd see light the entire time during the trip but once you arrived it would bedark. Your headlights might work here as they might refract off the left over gas cloud.
What happens when your car cools down to absolute zero? is there a way it create any heat to warm itself back up or is it dead? What about if you found a location that was absolute hot? Is there anyway to cool down from that or is absolute heat an infinity loop?Comment
